Behran Oil Company was established in 1962 as the largest private joint venture with Exxon company in Iran.
At the beginning, the production facilities were limited to a blending plant where only engine oils were blended and packed. After the Islamic Revolution, The company became totally independent, a new management system was incorporated and Behran was selected as the brand name.
Through the following years, the company expanded its operation to lube oil refining for production of base oils, motor oils and industrial lubricants, which are essential components in the performance standards of today's car manufacturing and industrial equipment.
Recently the refining capacity has been extended, and the production rate has been increased to over 150000 tons/year. Mean while the quality of the products has been upgraded according to the appropriate advanced international standards and guidelines.
